Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 22, 1956 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Joyce Wheeler Dies Suddenly - Services for Joyce Irene Wheeler, 13-year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth C. Wheeler, Sr., of Ricard who died suddenly last Thursday, were held at the family home Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Harley S. Hill, pastor of the Altmar Methodist church officiated. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery at Orwell. She had been in poor health all her life suffering from cerebral palsy. Surviving besides her parents are four sisters, Mrs. James (Josephine) Van Winkle of Camden, Peggy, Janice and Charlotte of Ricard; three brothers, Kenneth, Jr., of Fayetteville, William and Herbert of Ricard; her maternal grandfather, William Sparks of Camden, and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Wheeler of Altmar; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Joyce Irene Wheeler was born in Ricard June 8, 1943, the daughter of Kenneth C., Sr. and Mildred Sparks Wheeler.
