- Lucius H. Beadle - June 23, 1849 - June 2, 1921. Son of Amos Hitchcock and Betsey Ann Wheat Beadle. Husband of Mary A. Loomis Beadle (married March 1, 1871 at Orwell, New York) & Emma Loomis Beadle (married in March 16, 1879 at Orwell, New York.)
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 5, 1921 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Lucius H. Beadle, a lifelong resident of this town passed away Thursday morning, June 2 after an illness of five months duration. He was a son of Amos and Maria Beadle, and was born in Orwell, June 23, 1849. March 1, 1812 [sic] he married Mary, daughter of Charles and Julia Loomis. She died September 21, 1877 and March 16, 1879 he was united in marriage with Emma, only daughter of Orson and Almira Loomis, who survives him. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Ann Davis, of Orwell, and one brother, G. N. Beadle, of Scriba. For many years Mr. Beadle has been a conscientious, faithful member of Orwell Grange, and the Congregational Church, many times holding offices of trust and responsibility. The funeral service was conducted in the home, Saturday afternoon, by his pastor, Rev. T. T. Davies, and burial made in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends from out of town who attended the funeral were G. N. Beadle, Scriba, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Beadle, Minetto, Eugene Hambleton, Oswego, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Keyes, Dr. C. H. Davis, Pulaski, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bonner, Miss Bonner, Ellisburg, Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Hadley, Mrs. H. J. West, Mrs. George Radley, of Sandy Creek.
