[Notes: Ellen Widrig was born July 10, 1907 in Albion Township, Oswego County, New York, a daughter of William and Laura Wilbur Widrig. After their divorce, Ellen married Chauncey Sylvester Covey, on April 29, 1963. Ellen died August 3, 1983 at Oswego, New York, and is buried with Chauncey in Richland Cemetery, Richland, Oswego County, New York.]
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 30, 1964 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Today for C. Balch, 63 - Clinton W. Balch, Sr., 63, formerly of Richland, died early Monday at the Genesee Hospital in Rochester. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) at the Foster Funeral Home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Murphy of the Richland Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery at Orwell. Surviving are a son, Clinton W. Balch, Jr., of Pulaski; a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Florence) Gerdon of Richland; a granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Balch was born April 29, 1900, at Orwell, the son of Arthur and Jessie Avery Balch. He was educated in the Orwell and Richland schools. He had spent most of his life in the Richland area until about eight years ago when he went to Rochester where he was engaged in painting.
