      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 1, 1949 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Guy J. Stevens, 75 - Guy J. Stevens, 75 years of age, died November 23 at the home of his nephew, Orville Stephens where he and Mrs. Stevens had come to make their home. He had lived nearly his entire life in the town of Orwell over 45 years having been spent in his home near the Power House. Surviving are his wife, Tressie Stevens; two sisters, Leah Greenfield, Orwell, Edith Matteson, Novato, California; also two brothers, Ralph and Ernest, both of Orwell. Prayer was at the home and services at the Orwell Union church with Rev. Kenneth Combs, officiating with burial at Orwell Evergreen cemetery.
