    • Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 28, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - The friends of Mrs. Nettie Damon, wife of William D. Damon, were saddened to hear of her death, which occurred Saturday morning, July 24, at two o’clock. She had a very severe attack of typhoid fever last winter and never fully recovered from the effects of it. She died in the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred Rowe, in Boylston, where she had been spending a few days. Mrs. Damon, who was forty-two years and one month old, is survived by her father, John Waggoner, of Plessis, one sister, Mrs. Fred Rowe, her husband, W. D. Damon, and four children, Earl, Edith, Ray and Bessie Damon. She was a faithful member of the M. E. church and Sunday school, the W.F.M.S., and L.A.L. and of Orwell Rebekah Lodge, No. 236. She was treasurer of the latter organization at the time of her death. Her [line unreadable.] The funeral was conducted by Rev. A. A. Hand in Union church, Tuesday afternoon.
