    • Artemas Carpenter - 1820 - June 13, 1897. Husband of Nancy Keller Carpenter.
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 16, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mr. Carpenter, an old man and a lifelong resident of the town died quite suddenly at his home about three miles from the village last Sunday. He was father of the ex- Superintendent DeWitt Carpenter and a much respected man. He leaves an aged wife and several sons.
