      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 28, 1926 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Clayton A. Damon - Clayton A. Damon died in Orwell, Tuesday, at the home of his brother, E. J. Damon. He was born in Orwell June 4, 1863 [sic] and had passed the most of his life, as a farmer, in Orwell. Besides his brother, E. J. Damon he leaves another brother, George Damon, of Earlville, Madison County. The funeral will be held from the home of the brother, tomorrow at 2 o'clock, Rev. T. T. Davies, of Sandy Creek, will officiate.
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 29, 1926 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Vorea News - The great reaper, Death, has made another inroad into the ranks of the old-timers up here and has called from our midst, Clayton Damon, after a long illness. He passed away at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26th. Mr. Damon was born 73 years ago and spent his whole life in this section where he has been a well-known figure and well-liked by all. He had made his home with his brother, C. Damon for years, where he made a long but losing fight against death. Our sympathy goes out to Mr. and Mrs. C. Damon who have stood by him during his sufferings with the tenderest care and devotion. Interment at Orwell cemetery, Thursday, July 29th.
