      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 4, 1920 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Charles E. Allen Dies Aged 80 - Charles E. Allen was born in the town of Orwell, November, 1839 and died in that town, January 27, 1920. Mr. Allen was a son of one of the pioneers of the town of Orwell and had lived in that town all his life, occupied in farming all those years. He leaves a widow, one sister, Mrs. Helen Casler of Pulaski, one son, Glenn Allen, one niece in this locality, Mrs. Charles J. Wightman, of Pulaski, daughter of his brother, the late Orla Allen. Funeral services were held at Orwell, Thursday.
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 4, 1920 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Molino - E. Allen of Mexico attended the funeral of Charles Allen, Thursday, January 29. Nearly three weeks ago Charles E. Allen slipped on the cement floor of his barn and fractured his hip from which he never recovered. He died January 27, 1920, aged 80 years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Walter Clement, at the home, January 29, burial at Orwell. He is survived by a wife, one sister, Mrs. Helen Casler of Pulaski, several nieces and nephews, to whom much sympathy is extended. The community has lost a kind, helpful neighbor.
