Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 15, 1976 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Glenn Allen, local farmer, dies at 83 - Glenn B. Allen, 83, of Maltby Road, Pulaski, died on Saturday, September 11 at the Harwood Nursing Home Oswego. He was born on March 17, 1893 at Mexico, New York the son of Clarence and Florence Bonner Allen. He attended Mexico schools and was married in 1915 to Rosina Belle Plaisted at Sandy Creek. The couple operated a farm in Orwell until 1920 when they moved to their farm on Maltby Road. Mrs. Allen died in 1968. He is survived by two daughters, Miss Lois H. Allen of Pulaski and Mrs. Henry (Charolette) Vrooman [sic] of Mexico; one half-brother, Myron Allen of Watervliet, New York, five grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 14 at 11 a.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. The Rev. Stanley Skinner officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell.
