Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 28, 1952 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Today for Orwell Native - Mrs. Florence L. Clark, 66, wife of Peter J. Clark, formerly of Orwell, died in the Marcy State hospital Tuesday morning following an illness of several years. Funeral services will be held from the home of her sister, Mrs. Robert Armstrong, Orwell, Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Wesley E. Baker, pastor of the Orwell Union church, officiating. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery at Orwell. Surviving besides her husband, who lived in Syracuse, are two sons, Leon E. and Richard H. Clark, both of Syracuse; three sisters, Mrs. Marshall D. Pennock and Mrs. Robert Armstrong, both of Orwell, and Mrs. Leon Dunbar of Richland, and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Jasper J. Finster of Orwell died within the past year. Mrs. Clark was born in Orwell December 31, 1885, daughter of Ward and Elizabeth Hilton Finster. She spent her entire life in Orwell until her illness several years ago. She was a member of the Orwell Union church and of the Gleaners club of that church.
