      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 11, 1935 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Elmer J. Damon passed away Monday evening, December 9 at the home of Frank Mason in Potter street, after several months of illness. He was the youngest child of the late George and Betsey Mason Damon and was born in Orwell in April 1861. Mr. Damon was the last member of his parents’ family of seven children to depart from this life. His wife, Mrs. Nora Mason Damon died several years ago. Mr. Damon is survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the home of Frank Mason, and burial made in the family plot in Evergreen cemetery.
