[Notes: Anne McKinley was born October 28, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of Arthur Gardner and Edith May Innes McKinley. Anne died in April 1976, her place of burial is unknown.]
      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, May 7, 1983 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Virgil Chase, 81 - Virgil Chase, age 81, of Cleveland, Ohio died December 19, 1983 in Cleveland. He was born March 26, 1902 the son of Lemuel and Eva Ostrom Chase in Orwell, New York. He attended Orwell public schools. After graduation he moved to Cleveland, Ohio, where he worked for Republic Steel as a research analyst for over fifty years, retiring in 1968. Survivors include his wife, Ether B. Chase, Cleveland, Ohio; one son, David R., Houston, Texas; one daughter Edith Chase, Rochester, New York, granddaughters, Lisa A. Chase and Deanna Chase, Houston, Texas. One brother, Homer Chase of Hastings Center predeceased him and also one sister, Marie Clement of Cleveland, Ohio predeceased him. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 12 at the Orwell Union Church with Rev. Stanley Tanner officiating. A Masonic service will be held at this time at the church also. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Foster-Hax funeral home has charge of arrangements.
