Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 31, 1930 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Anna Hilton Dies at Orwell - Mrs. Anna Hilton, widow of the late Charles Hilton, passed away Saturday morning, December 27, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John W. Lattimer. She was a daughter of the late George and Anna Waggoner and was born in Germany, May 27, 1846. When a babe of a few months she came with her parents to America. She was united in marriage with Charles Hilton, April 6, 1875. To this union was born one daughter, Elvira Hilton. Mr. and Mrs. Hilton celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary at the home of their daughter, Mrs. J. W. Lattimer, April 6, 1925, when a large company of friends gathered to offer congratulations. Mrs. Hilton is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lattimer, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Of her immediate family she is the last of twelve children to depart, after reaching the age of 84 years and 7 months. Funeral services were conducted in the home by Rev. T. T. Davies, Monday afternoon, December 29, and burial made in Evergreen cemetery.
