Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 24, 1922 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Orwell - Mrs. Augustus Sage Clark [sic], widow of the late David Clark, passed away Saturday afternoon, August 19, at the home of her son, John B. Clark. Mrs. Clark, who was 65 years of age, was stricken with apoplexy Tuesday evening, August 15 and never regained consciousness. She is survived by two sons, John B. Clark, of Orwell, Arthur E. Clark of Richland and by two grandsons, Wayne and Rex Clark of Richland. Mrs. Clark has been a member of Orwell Grange 21 years, also a member of Orwell Rebekah Lodge many years and was a faithful attendant of the orders until failing health prevented. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. T. Davies and Rev. I. N. Steelman Monday afternoon in the home, and burial made in Evergreen cemetery.
