      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday Evening, October 7, 1942 Daily Sentinel - Rome, New York - Mrs. Lucy Damon Dies at Age of 70 - Camden, October 7 - Mrs. Lucy Damon, 70, died in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lolo Lee, Rochester, Tuesday. She was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, April 25, 1872, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Boyd. She was married to Frederick Damon on October 13, 1894 in Richland. He died about 11 years ago. Mrs. Damon had lived in Camden 43 years, moving to Rochester 11 months ago. She was a member of the local Episcopal Church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Doran and Mrs. Lee, both of Rochester; a brother, Edward Boyd, Pulaski; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the B. A. Sanborn & Son funeral home, at 1 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev. Alfred Martin, of the Episcopal Church, officiating. Burial will be in Orwell.
