Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 24, 1910 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Orwell - Death has entered our home and taken from us our loving husband and father, George Davis, aged sixty years, one month and ten days. Deeply we mourn his loss. All was done the loving hands could do to relieve his suffering, but the Lord knows best, and was ready to receive him. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. A. A. Hand, were largely attended. Many and beautiful worthy floral offerings from friends and neighbors; among them was a handsome wreath presented by the Canastota Coach company. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery. Mr. Davis is survived by his widow, two sons, one granddaughter and one sister, Mrs. H. B. Ensworth, of Oswego. We wish to extend our sincere thanks to our friends and neighbors who so kindly assisted us during the sickness and death of our loved one. Mrs. George Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Davis, Pearl Davis.
