Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, April 9, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Edward A. Hilton, Altmar, Dies at Age of 71 - Edward A. Hilton, 71, South Albion Road, died Monday at Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Sola; three sons, James, Altmar, John, Syracuse, and Edward, Mexico; a daughter, Joyce Carr, Fulton, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Born May 31, 1924, at Orwell, son of Archie and Beatrice Neill Hilton, he married Evelyn Martin on July 27, 1946, in Richland. The couple lived at Richland until 1960, when they moved to Fulton. Evelyn Hilton died January 31, 1980. Mr. Hilton retired in 1987 after 29 years of employment with Nestle Company, Fulton, and moved to Altmar in 1990. He married Sola Cooley in 1985.
