      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 13, 1924 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Orwell - The funeral of John Balch, of Rochester, a former resident of Orwell, was held in Union Church, Wednesday forenoon at eleven o'clock, March 12. Besides his widow, he is survived by five sons, George, of West Palm Beach, Florida; Arthur, of Richland; Royce, John, Jr., and Orlo, of Rochester and several grandchildren. Burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
