      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 1, 1931 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Orwell - Fred B. Damon - Fred B. Damon, of Camden, New York, passed away in the Rome Hospital, Saturday afternoon, September 26, 1931, four days after undergoing a major operation. He was born in the town of Orwell, June 21, 1872, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Damon. Mr. Damon is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucy Boyd Damon; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Galiher [sic], of Sherrill, New York; Mrs. Arthur Dorn, of Rochester; Mrs. Lola Lee, of Sherrill; by four brothers, William D. and Don, of Syracuse; Ernest and Frank, of Oneida; by three sisters, Mrs. Albert Bonner, of Orwell; Mrs. Cora Balch, of Buffalo and Mrs. Henry Snow, of Syracuse. The funeral was held in Camden, Tuesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock.
