      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 21, 1979 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Marshall D. Pennock, 94 - Marshall D. Pennock, 94, of Orwell-Lacona Road, town of Orwell, died Thursday at his home. Born October 11, 1885 in Orwell, he was the son of Henry and Ellen Otter Pennock [sic]. He attended town of Orwell district schools and married Minnie B. Finster on December 28, 1904 [sic]. He was employed by the New York Central Railroad until 1911 when he moved to his farm. He and his wife operated the farm all their married life. Mrs. Pennock died August 17, 1973. He was a member of Orwell Union Church and Sandy Creek Grange. Surviving are two sons, Carl F. Pennock of Lacona and Ward F. Pennock of Croghan; one daughter, Mrs. Yates (Myrtle) Mahaffy of Lacona; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and one brother, L. D. Pennock of Lacona. Private services were held Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home in Pulaski with Rev. Robert Murphy officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, Orwell. Donations may be made to the Northern Oswego County Health Services, Inc.
