Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, February 16, 1971 Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Mr. Pennock Dies at 56 - Albert L. Pennock, 56, of 3239 Eager Road, Jamesville, for 30 years a mail carrier with the United States Postal Department, died yesterday at his home following a long illness. He had retired in 1968. A native Syracusan, Mr. Pennock was a member of the United Federation of Postal Clerks and belonged to the National Association of Retirees and Civil Employees. He was a member of the Pastimes Athletic Club. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leona Wallace Pennock; a son, Maurice Wallace of Fairport; two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Hagerman of Caughdenough [sic] and Mrs. Helen Werner of Liverpool; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Goddard and Crandall Funeral Home, 3111 James Street, the Rev. Leonard Basford officiating. Cremation will follow in Central Square. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
