Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, July 15, 1926 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Charlotte Allen - The death of Mrs. Charlotte Bonner Allen, 86, occurred Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her grandson, Glenn Allen, who resides about two miles northwest of Pulaski. Mrs. Allen was born in the town of Parish, October 29, 1839, and had been a lifelong resident of this vicinity. She was twice married, her first husband being Henry Bonner, of Orwell who died in 1884. Her second husband, Charles Allen, died about six years ago. Surviving are a son, Albert Bonner of Orwell, and a daughter, Mrs. James Crowe, of Duluth, Minnesota. Funeral services were held at the Allen home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, at which Rev. E. H. Scott, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Pulaski officiated. Burial was made in the Evergreen cemetery at Orwell.
