      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 18, 1968 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Pennock Dies At Alexandria Bay - Sandy Pond - Mrs. Mayme E. Wilder Pennock, 83, a summer resident of the West Shore here, died April 16, 1968 in the Edward John Noble Hospital at Alexandria Bay. Mrs. Pennock, who was 83, spent the winters with her stepson, the Rev. Harold H. Pennock, pastor of the Methodist church at Alexandria Bay. She was the widow of Lawrence J. Pennock. She was born February 18, 1885 at Richland and lived there until 1945, when she and Mr. Pennock moved to Lakeland, Florida. Mr. Pennock, who was the brother of Marshall and L. D. Pennock of Orwell, died in 1953. Mrs. Pennock is survived by her stepson and five grandchildren. The Rev. Robert E. Pennock, Protestant chaplain at the State University College at Oswego, is a grandson. The funeral was held Friday at the Foster Funeral Home, Pulaski, the Rev. Nelson Reppart, pastor of Park Methodist church, Pulaski, officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Orwell.
