      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, September 11, 1884 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Beecherville - It is with sorrow we learn of the death of Mrs. Dr. Nelson, of Orwell, which occurred Thursday, September 4th. Mrs. Nelson was a very lovable and friendly lady who made for herself a host of friends. She has been in poor health for a number of years but of late has been able to ride out and at the last her death was very sudden. Mrs. Nelson will be mourned as a loving and gentle wife and mother and as an esteemed and Christian neighbor. The funeral, at Orwell, occurred on Sunday at one o'clock.

Nelson, nee Mary E. Bonner, died recently, aged 40. Mrs. Nelson was a sweet tempered, Christian lady, whose presence shed a halo of gladness upon all about her, and whose life was like a perpetual song of thankfulness to God. She leaves a husband and son and a wide circle of friends to mourn her early death. She was a consistent member of the Congregational church.
