Henry B. Adams, a former resident of this city, died this morning at his home in Henderson Harbor. A resident of Rome until 1922, he left to go to Adams, where he was superintendent of the Snyder Packing Company there until it closed.
He was born in Rome February 22, 1888, the son of Wylie and Julia Wilson Adams, and attended Rome Free Academy. His father operated the old Wiley Park House on Park St.
Mr. Adams twice married. His first wife, Dora Sullivan, died about 18 years ago, and a year later he married Bessie Wilbur.
He was a member of the Blue Lodge, F & AM, Adams, past high priest of Adams Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, and past patron of Cecelia Chapter, OES, Adams. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are four daughters, Miss Julia Mae, a teacher in Long Island, Ruth, Muriel, and Jane, at home, and two sons, Wylie, Schenectady, and George, at home. he also leaves several relatives in this vicinity.
