Married June 19, 1890 in Ontario Center, Ontario Township, Wayne County, New York; divorced before 1905. [Notes: Franklin Armstrong was born June 11, 1867 in Williamstown, New York, a son of Robert and Emma Annette “Nettie” Myers Armstrong. Frank moved to Michigan, where he married his second wife, Ella M. Knapp in February, 1905 in Kent County, Michigan. Frank died March 24, 1948 in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan, place of his burial is unknown.]
      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, February 2, 1938 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mrs. Genevieve Armstrong passed away Thursday evening, January 27 at the home of her son, Robert E. Armstrong. She was born April 5, 1869, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Utley, at Ontario, New York. Besides her son, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Edwin King of Williamsville; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Calhoun of Marion, Miss Bertha Utley of Rochester, and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, the Willing Workers class of Orwell Union Sunday school, the Foreign Missionary society, and of Orwell Rebekah Lodge, No. 236. Members of the Rebekah Lodge attended the funeral services in a body Sunday afternoon at two o'clock in the home, her pastor, Rev. C. P. Martin officiating. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery. Relatives from out of town who attended the funeral were William Calhoun of Marion, Mrs. Edwin King of Williamsville, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph VanDoozer of Rochester, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Bennett of Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Hilton of Baldwinsville, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnson of Pulaski.
