- Obituary of Vera Carnell Dewey
Vera Carnell (Hicks) Dewey, 92, of Hudson, FL and Pulaski, NY passed away on March 28, 2020 in Hudson, Florida. Carnell was born in Campbell, Missouri on July 15, 1927. She moved to Pulaski after WWII. She worked for many years at Peters Appliances. After retirement, she split her time between Hudson, FL and Springbrook Apartments in Pulaski.
Carnell is survived by her two daughters, Susan (Don) Carr of Hudson, FL and Sandra (Dan) Johnson of Brewerton, NY; two grandsons, Greg of Sherman Oaks, CA and Steven (Amanda) Johnson and two great grandchildren, Ruby and Simon Johnson of Williamson, NY; a sister, Cloraietta Flexsenhar of Jefferson City, MO; a brother, Carlos (Glenda) Hicks of Poplar Bluff, MO; along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
There are no services planned at this time. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Gulfside Hospice for their assistance with Carnell’s care after she suffered a stroke.
