Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 10, 1919 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Death of Mrs. Mary Nelson - Mrs. Mary Nelson, of Herkimer, died after less than a day's illness, at the home of Rev. F. S. Shaw, of Camden, last week. She was the widow of Frank Nelson and formerly resided in Orwell. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Stowell, who resided in Orwell. She was born the 3d of June 1856. She lived with her son, David Nelson, in Herkimer, but was visiting her daughter at McConnellsville and friends in Camden where she lived for twelve years. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. George Grinnell, of McConnellsville, her son, David, of Herkimer, a sister, Mrs. W. I. Lane of this village; a brother, Hobart Stowell of Syracuse, and two sisters, Mrs. Cora Green, of Oswego and Mrs. Jennie Blount, of Syracuse. Her funeral was held in Camden and burial took place at Orwell, Thursday.
