Bambury Olmstead (married September 16, 1903 in Orwell Township, Oswego County, New York) & Ruby A. Lyons Olmstead (married January 9, 1918 in Orwell Township, Oswego County, New York.)
Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 11, 1960 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Fred L. Olmstead Dies in Florida - Fred L. Olmstead, 78, died early Thursday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he had been a patient 12 days. He went to Florida last November where they had spent the winters the past few years. He had been in ill health the past year. A prayer service was held at the home in Orwell, Tuesday followed by services at 2 p.m. in the Orwell Union Church. The Rev. Robert Murphy, pastor, officiated. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. Masonic rites were held at the family home Monday evening. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Lyons Olmstead; a daughter, Mrs. Francis (Mildred) Drake of Orwell; a brother, Orimel B. Olmstead of Pulaski; a grandson, Philip Drake of Richland; a granddaughter, Mrs. David (Judith) Porter of Adams Center; two great- grandchildren, one nephew and three nieces. Mr. Olmstead was born at Orwell, November 19, 1881 and was the son of Arthur E. and Ida Davis Olmstead. He had lived in Orwell all his life, attended the Pulaski school and assisted his father in conducting a general store in Orwell, a business he has continued all his life. He was a member of the Orwell Union Church, the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodge of Orwell and was also way 50-year member of Pulaski Lodge, 415 F. & A.M. and of Pulaski Chapter 279, R.A.M.
