Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 2, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Orwell - Mrs. Elizabeth Myers, wife of Mason Myers, died, Tuesday evening, May 25, after an illness of several weeks with dropsy and heart disease. She was born in York, Pennsylvania, in January 1856. Thirty-six years ago she was united in marriage with Mr. Myers, who survives. Her aged mother, Mrs. Leah Isaac, Messrs. Mason and Porter Isaac, Mrs. Anna Grigsby, all of Freeport, Illinois; Irving Isaac, of Whitman, Nebraska, and Alfred Isaac, of Sunnyside, Washington, her brothers and sister, remain to mourn her loss. Mrs. Myers had plans made to spend the summer in the west, visiting relatives. Her funeral services were conducted in Union church, Friday afternoon, by Rev. Alonzo Hand, pastor of the M. E. church, and burial made in Evergreen cemetery. Mrs. Myers was a member of the M. E. church, the W.F.M. society, S. M. Olmstead, W.R.C. No. 25, and of Orwell Grange, No. 66. Her casket was surrounded with many beautiful floral tributes, evidences of the love and esteem of her friends.
