Edison C. Joss, age 89, a resident of Pulaski, passed away Thursday at his home.
Edison was a resident of Pulaski since 1954; he previously lived in North Syracuse. He was born June 13, 1923, in North Syracuse. He attended North Syracuse schools.
Edison married Arlene Davey on October 28, 1995; he was previously married to Dorothy Klunder Joss; she died April 4, 1990. He owned and operated a dairy farm on Lake Street for 58 years.
Edison was a member of the Vorea Community Church in Orwell.
Surviving: wife, Arlene N.; three daughters, Barbara Moore of Fulton, Terry Joss of Florida and Spring (Kirk) Stenson of Orwell; six sons, Bruce Joss of Oswego, John Joss of Oregon, Ron (Jennifer) Joss of Altmar, Dean (Shelley) Joss of Pulaski, Lance (Stephanie) Joss of Woodville and Randy (Julie) Joss of Pulaski; one stepson, Raymond Davey of Altmar; one brother, Otto (Lucille) Joss of Lacona; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Edison was predeceased by an infant daughter, Linda; one granddaughter, Tammy Young Barrentine; and one great-grandson, Eric Martinez.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Pulaski Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
