Margaret Ellen Coleman, daughter of Patrick and Dorothy Coleman, 172 Ten Eyck St., was married in a candlelight ceremony to Matthew Michael Grant, 624 State St., son of Catherine Grant, 640 Boyd St., and Michael Grant, Great Bend, at 6 p.m. Saturday in St. Patrick's Church with the Rev. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a white taffeta gown accented with beaded Alencon lace and fashioned with a V neckline, long, puffed sleeves, a Basque waist, full skirt and semi-cathedral-length train. Both the skirt and train were decorated with appliques of beaded Alencon lace.

Her headpiece was a small pouf and two-tier veil attached to a crown accented with pearls and rhinestones in a daisy-like pattern. She carried a cascading bouquet of white miniature carnations, white daisies and white sweetheart roses accented with kelly green miniature carnations and ivy. She also carried the rosary which belonged to her paternal grandmother, the late Margaret Coleman.

Bridesmaids were Christine Ellingham, Rochester, Sandy Vespa, Watertown, Nicole Grant, Watertown, sister of the bridegroom, Heather Schremp, Penfield, Suzanne Lasher, Clifton Springs, and Penny Huggins, Ewa Beach, Hawaii. Ushers were Miles Reynolds, Ormond Beach, brother-in-law of the bride, Timothy Burnett, Watertown, James Gracey, Dexter, uncle of the bridegroom, Gregory Lehr, Binghamton, cousin of the bridegroom, Todd Young, Clayton, and John Lehr, Canastota, cousin of the bridegroom. Music was provided by organist Jack Tooley, Evans Mills, bagpiper Scott Bell, Kingston, Ontario, and vocalists Tim Grant, Watertown, uncle of the bridegroom, and Cory Grant, Watertown, cousin of the bridegroom. Gifts were presented by the bride's parents, the bridegroom's mother, and Betty Howard, Watertown, aunt of the bride.
