    • Obituary of Charles E. Lewis

      Charles E. Lewis, age 83, life resident of Pulaski passed away Monday at his home. Charles was born August 9, 1936 in Pulaski, the son of Herbert and Alma Trumble Lewis. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 1955. Charles married Dana Redway on July 18, 1959 and served in the United States Army from 1959 until 1965 in Korea and Okinawa. Charles was employed by General Electric in Syracuse for 25 years, retiring in 1992. He also owned a dairy farm for 12 years and was employed by Healthway for several years. Charles was a member of the Robert Edwards American Legion Post #358 in Pulaski; Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski and coached his sons in the Salmon River Youth Hockey for many years.

      Surviving are his wife Dana, one daughter, Leslie (Duane) Corbo of Pulaski, two sons, Lance Lewis and his companion Ruth Scheppard of Pulaski, and Larry (Tina) Lewis of Las Vegas, NV, two sisters, Darlene Chappell of Rochester and Suzanne Phelps of Oswego, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

      Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in Pulaski Cemetery. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
