Carolyn E. Coleman Pratt, 73, passed away on Friday, February 8th, 2013 in the comfort of her family.
Carolyn was born on April 21st, 1939 in Watertown, NY, the daughter of Daniel and Margaret Carlin Coleman. She attended Immaculate Heart Academy in Watertown, NY.
She married Percy A. Pratt on May 21st, 1957 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Watertown, NY. The marriage later ended in divorce
Carolyn was a homemaker, raising seven children. She had a home cake decoration business and provided babysitting services. She also worked at the Indian River High School for a short period of time as an aide.
Survivors include four daughters and their husbands, Sheryl and Eric Jendrock of MA, Susan and Dennis Hunter of Plessis, Teresa and Roy Eiss of WA, Christine and Michael Stiso of CT; two sons and their wives, Patrick and Jackie Pratt of Dexter, Daniel and Kim Pratt of Watertown; two sisters and three brothers, Maryjane and her husband, Robert Deline, Corlene and her husband, Robert Taylor, James Coleman, Patrick and his wife, Dorothy Coleman, Michael and his wife, Ginger Coleman; twenty grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.
A son, Scott L. Pratt passed before her.
The funeral will be 11 am Wednesday, February 13 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Redwood with Rev. Douglas Comstock officiating. Burial at Oakwood Cemetery will be in the spring. Calling hours are 4 to 7 pm on Tuesday, February 12 at Frederick Bros. Funeral Home, Theresa, NY.
