      Clifford Earl Otis, 81, of Ithaca, NY, and formerly of Lewiston, NY, passed away peacefully at Cayuga Medical Center surrounded by his loving family after watching his final Buffalo Bills game on Sunday, December 9, 2012 following a brief illness.. Clifford was born on April 19, 1931 in Lakewood, OH, to Helen (Murtha) and Clifford A. Otis.. Cliff was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Adele Surowiec (Raymond), and his step-daughter Diane DeAugistine.. Cliff is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Elizabeth (Betty) Otis; his brother, William Otis (Carol); his children Cheryl Gordon (Donny), Debra DeAugistine, Christine Otis, and Clifford D. Otis; his thirteen grandchildren Jennifer, Shanda, Jessica, Amy, Sara, Heather, Cassie, Nate, Elias, Alec, Leah, Michael, and Lynda; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.. A celebration of Cliff's life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1:00 PM at West Hill Community Church, 3049 VanDorn Corners Road, Ithaca.
