Gaffney, age 70, resident of Richland for the last 40 years, passed away Monday at his home. Michael was born August 8, 1949 in Troy, NY, the son of Donald and Mary Farrell Gaffney. He graduated from APW high School. Michael was married to Joan Gaffney on December 14, 1972 and she passed away January 12, 2010. He was employed by Syracuse Pool & Patio for 30 years, retiring in 2012. Surviving are one daughter, Michelle P. Gaffney of Texas, three sons, Michael P. (Christie) Gaffney of Texas, Richard J. (Carla) Gaffney of Richland and Daniel K. Gaffney of Richland, one sister, Kathy LeBeau of Pulaski and seven granddaughters. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
