- James E. Denslow Sr., 66, of Hastings, died Thursday, June 9, 2005, at Home. Born and raised in Syracuse, he's lived in Hastings for 33 years. Mr. Denslowwas a laborer for Prestolite in Syracuse for 20 years. He was a member of the D.A.V. Chapter #30, Eliminators' Motorcycle Club, and the Push Rods Auto Club. Jim was an avid bowler and a custom car and motorcycle painter. He also was a Marine Corps veteran. Surviving him are his wife of 35 years, the former Dale C. Allen; four sons, James E. II, Shawn (Rae) H., Jesse D., and Brian F. Denslow; two daughters, Donna L.(David) McLoud and Julienne (Thomas) Gordon; two grandsons, Thomas Denslow and Zachary McLoud; three granddaughters, Kristyna, Nicole, and Kimberly Gordon; a great-granddaughter, Alyson Denslow; and two brothers, Leafeo "Bill" Jr. and Thomas D. Denslow.
