  Doris was born September 2, 1926, in Stamford, New York, the daughter of Glen and Elsie Pond Hayner. She resided in Pulaski from 1955 until 2007, when she moved to Virginia. Doris graduated from Stamford High School in 1944. She also attended Mildred Elley Business School in Albany. Doris married Donald L. Cornell in 1946; he died July 18, 1985. She was employed by Oswego County BOCES for 31 years, retiring in 1987. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski. Doris also belonged to several bowling and golf leagues for many years. Surviving: two daughters, Pamela Graham of Lewisville, TX, and Lynn (Phillip) Forbes of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Lois Hayner of Albany and Priscilla (Frank) Fleeman of Sarasota, FL; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Thomas Cornell, in 1996
