Gary L. Workman, 60, of 3386 Maple Ave., died Thursday at Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Syracuse. Mr. Workman retired in 1992 after 16 years with Miller Brewing Co. and previously worked eight years at Schoeller Technical Papers. He lived in Arlington, Va., before moving to Pulaski. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Robert Edwards American Legion Post 358 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7289 and a retired member of Ringgold Fire Department. Born Oct. 6, 1940, in Crichton, W. Va., son of Ervin and Leona Chapman Workman, he served in the Army from 1956 to 1962. He married Judith A. Stowell on June 9, 1963. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Christine A. Alberry, East Syracuse; two sons, Cary A. and Christopher J., both of Liverpool, and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Spring burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to American Legion Post 358, Maple Avenue, Pulaski, N.Y. 13142 or VFW Post 7289, Salina Street, Pulaski.
