      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, April 28, 1949 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Services Friday for Mrs. Daly, 84 - Mrs. Catherine McGuire Daly, 84, died early Tuesday morning at Loretta Rest, in Syracuse, where she had made her home since last July. Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Friday morning with a prayer at the home of her son, Glenn, in Port Street, and from the St. John's church at 9:30. Rev. Edward P. Kenefic will celebrate the mass. Burial will be made in Richland cemetery. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nora Robbins of Syracuse; five sons, William of Syracuse, Henry of Liverpool, Earl of Ogdensburg, Glenn A., Pulaski and Florian, a Staff Sergeant with the Air Force in England; a brother, Henry McGuire of Holly, New York; and several grandchildren. Mrs. Daly was born in Sackets Harbor, October 6, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McGuire. She married Mr. Daly in Henderson on March 30, 1882, who died in July 1942. She had spent most of her married life in the vicinity of Pulaski, coming to this village from Liverpool in 1910. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and of the Altar and Rosary society.
