- Ronald A. Waddell, 82, of 121 Crestview Drive, Syracuse, died Saturday at Van Duyn Home & Hospital.
He was born in Belleville, Ontario. He was a purchasing agent for Standard Auto Supply, Syracuse. He was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, its Men's Golf League and the Eights and Dates Square Dance Club, and a member and past president of the Syracuse Gem and Mineral Society and the New Haven Mineral Club.
His two sons, David and Mark, died previously.
Survivors: His wife of 58 years, the former Mildred E. Willis; a daughter, Judith Speach of North Syracuse; two grandsons; two step-granddaughters; a step-greatgranddaughter.
Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ballweg & Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial, Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours, 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St., Syracuse.
