He was owner and operator of Dana's Paving Co. of Parish, NY for 40 years. He was active in raising hunting dogs and the Parish Little League. Survivors: wife of 45 years, the former Dian Freeden; two sons, William Dana, Altmar, and Norman Dana, Parish; four daughters, Margaret Eastman, Mexico, Jo-Ann Ripka, Pulaski, Jackie Pettit, Palermo, and Jeannie Curry, Kasoag; 22 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother James Dana, Mexico. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday from the Harter Funeral Home, 2983 West Main Street, Parish, NY. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek, NY. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
