Reta V. Britton, 81, of 5407 Route 104, Oswego, formerly of Pulaski, died Tuesday in Oswego Hospital.
Mrs. Britton was a homemaker.
Born Feb. 19, 1922, at Sandy Creek, daughter of George and Cora Dana Chrisman, she attended Sandy Creek schools.
She married Leo Burdick on April 29, 1939. He died Aug. 6, 1971.
She married Donald G. Britton on May 8, 1980.
Surviving besides her husband are three daughters, Beverly Sweatland, Williamstown, Joyce Dumas, Minetto, and Betty Fosdick, Blossvale; seven stepdaughters, Nancy Babcock, Mexico, Alice Baird, Redfield, Susan Muckey and Michele Curtis, both of Williamstown, Sandra Henderson, Camden, Shirley Goodsell, Pulaski, and Sheila Vance, Henderson; two stepsons, Donald G. Jr. and Bruce Britton, both of Williamstown, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Judy Matteson, died in 2000.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Hunsinger officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood.
Calling hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
