- Obituary of Linda A. Roser
Linda A. Roser, age 75, resident of Altmar, since 1965, passed away Tuesday at her home. Linda was born January 25, 1945 in Oswego, the daughter of Elmer and Nettie Halsey Horning. She graduated from APW High School in 1963 and attended Bryant and Stratton Business School. Linda was married to Richard Roser in November of 1965. She was employed by Oswego County DSS for 30 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Ricard Grange. She was a proud grandparent of APW athletes and an avid SU fan.
Surviving are her husband Richard, one daughter, Cathy (Kraig) Shawcross of Altmar, one son, Jon (Shelley) Roser of Altmar, one brother, David (Rene) Horning of Baldwinsville, sisters, Edith Spedding of Cicero, Hannas Bristol of Camden, Dayle Painter of Tennessee and Bonnie (David) Fadden of Baldwinsville, and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, September 11th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home 52 Park Street Pulaski with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
