David Curtis Waters, 77, of 25 North Street, died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
The funeral will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, the Rev. John Hogan officiating. Spring burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt, with full military honors.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 7643 Jefferson St. Contributions may be made to Pulaski Lions Club.
Surviving are his wife, Ann; three sons, David, and Richard, both of Pulaski, and Edward, Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Patricia Wilson, West Chester, Pa., Colleen Libbey, Oswego,and Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Peer, Windsor, Conn.; two sisters, Arlene Hogle, Syracuse, and Mrs. Fred (Lucy) Sprague, Watertown; a brother, George, Syracuse; five grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Born May 8, 1918, in DeWitt, a son of Levi and Mary McGraw Waters, he graduated from Cathedral High School, Syracuse.
A World War II veteran, he served in the 809th Engineer Battalion in North Africa, Italy and France. He was a self-employed carpenter.
He married Ann Tolan on Aug. 22, 1945, in Geneva. The couple moved to Pulaski in 1954.
A communicant of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Mr. Waters was a member of Knights of Columbus Council 5606 and the Pulaski Lions Club.

David Curtis Waters, 77, of 25 North St. died Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse.
A native of DeWitt, Mr. Waters moved to Pulaski in 1954. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Syracuse.
Mr. Waters was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Pulaski, and a member of Council 5606, Knights of Columbus. He also was a member of the Pulaski Lions Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Ann; three sons, David and Richard, both of Pulaski, and Edward of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Patricia Wilson of West Chester, Pa., Colleen Libbey of Oswego and Nancy Peer of Windsor, Conn.; two sisters, Arlene Hogle of Syracuse and Lucy Sprague of Watertown; a brother, George of Syracuse; five grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
