      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, January 25, 1951 Fulton Patriot - Allen - Died at his home, R. D. 2 Parish, Jan. 2, Howard A. Allen, aged 52 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rose Allen; his mother, Mrs. Cora Allen of Fulton; a son, Howard Jr., Parish; three daughters, Mrs. Ivan Growe and Mrs. Horace Bullard, Fulton, and Mrs. Thomas Addonio of R. D. 2 Parish; five brothers, Donald of Liverpool, Albert of Fulton, Harry and Martin of Phoenix, and Sgt. Frank Allen of Breckenbridge, Ky.; four sisters, Mrs. Elsie London of Parish; Mrs. Michael Lobur of Fulton, Mrs. Michael Weland, Phoenix, and Mrs. Alice Himes of Syracuse, and eight grandchildren. The deceased was born in Phoenix but had resided in the Parish area for the past two years. He was a farmer by occupation and formerly resided near Fulton and in Pennsylvania. During World War I he served in the navy.
