[Notes: Delia Scranton was born November 27, 1867 at Parish, New York, the daughter of Francis Henry and Maryette Duel Scranton. Delia was first married to Daniel Elmer Davey. Delia died December 1, 1960, and is buried with Daniel Davey in Riverside Cemetery at Altmar, New York.]
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 26, 1953 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Last Rites For Allen Dale, 82 - Funeral services for Allen Dale, 82, who died Monday in the Austin nursing home, in Richland where he had been a patient for some time, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Brown Funeral Home in Altmar. The Rev. H. S. Hill, pastor of the Altmar Methodist Church, officiated. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery in Orwell. His only survivor is a niece, Dorothy Sperling, now Mrs. Chester A. Wheeler of Worcester, Massachusetts. His wife, the former Sarah H. Stevens of Vorea, whom he married in 1908, died in 1922. Mr. Dale was born in Orwell, June 22, 1870, a son of William H. and Orinda Allen Dale. He was a lifelong resident and well-known farmer of the Town of Orwell.
