- March 12, 2012 Flossie A. Spink, age 75, longtime resident of Altmar, passed away Monday at James Square Nursing Home, Syracuse. Flossie was born July 16, 1936, in Massena, NY. She married Robert Spink on March 30, 1983. Flossie was employed by the APW School District as a bus driver for 10 years. Flossie was a former member of the Russell Tryon American Legion Post #1435 and the Williamstown Senior Citizens. Surviving: her husband, Robert J.; four daughters, Christine O'Donnell of Camillus, Lynne (John) Johnson of Orwell, Sandra O'Donnell of Camillus, and Tracy (David) Sweeney of Parish; one son, Michael O'Donnell of Nashville, TN; three stepdaughters, Robin (Dale) Featherston of Tyler, TX, Kathy (Grover) Britton of Williamstown, and Gail Spink of Sandy Creek; three stepsons, Robert Jr. (Darlene) Spink of Williamstown, Jeffrey (Geraldine) Spink of Parish, and Douglas Spink of Oswego; four brothers; many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the funeral.
