Notes - Jean A. Halsey, age 92, resident of Pulaski for the last 72 years, passed away Tuesday at home. Jean was born February 2, 1925 in Palermo, the daughter of George and Fannie MacDougall Allen. She graduated from Mexico High School in 1943. Jean was married to Richard F. Jensen and he passed away in 1962, she later married Lyle P. Halsey who passed away in 2004. Jean and her husbands owned and operated a dairy farm for many years. Jean was a member of the Park United Methodist Church in Pulaski and the Ontario Chapter of the DAR.
Surviving are three daughters, Carol (Martin) Quencer of Chaumont, Shirley (Thomas) Hanley of Fulton and Marion Jensen of Pulaski, two sons, Frederick Jensen and Ira (Tracey) Halsey both of Pulaski, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, October 7th at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., Pulaski with burial in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral.
