Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, August 9, 1922 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Allen Dale Dies at Orwell - Sarah Stevens was born in Orwell forty-nine years ago. She was daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Stevens. She spent her girlhood days in Orwell and on July 7, 1908, was united in marriage with Mr. Allen Dale. A month ago she was taken ill and all the skill and care that could be given was given her but to no avail, she went down until, on Sunday, August 6th, she passed out of this life. She is survived by her husband, her mother, two sisters, Mrs. Charles Carpenter, of Orwell and Mrs. Frederick A. Hallenbeck, of Norfolk, Virginia, and one brother, Charles Stevens, of Kenwood, Oneida County. Funeral services will be held at the home, today.
